Even though we lost the series, taking one game from the Brewers was crucial, and to me it means the Cincinnati Reds are still alive. Tyler Stephenson hit a clutch go-ahead home run, and Spencer Steer with the sac fly also played pivotal roles in this 4-3 victory. Despite the ups and downs, this win might have saved our season, giving us momentum as we head into a homestand against the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals. Beating the Cardinals always feels amazing, and this series will be key for the playoff race. Let’s hope this momentum carries into the upcoming series and a quick Reds-Cardinals preview!
